Kadhaishorts ("we", "our", "us") operates the Kadhaishorts mobile application and this website (kadhaishorts.com). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
- Account data: phone number or email used to sign in.
- Usage data: anonymised interaction events used to improve the app (see Third-party services below).
- Device data: device model, OS version, app version, language — used for debugging and to deliver the right build.
- Purchase data: processed by the platform store (Apple / Google); we receive only the receipt needed to unlock content.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information to provide the service, authenticate your identity, process in-app purchases, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party Services
This site and app use the following third-party services that may collect usage data:
- Google Analytics (website) — aggregate traffic analytics.
- PostHog (app + website) — product analytics. We do not record sessions.
- RevenueCat (app) — manages in-app purchase entitlements.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo Push (app) — delivers push notifications you've opted into.
- Cloudflare Stream / Bunny CDN (app) — video delivery.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not share raw personal data with advertisers.
Cookies & Local Storage
This website uses local storage to remember your selected language and uses cookies set by Google Analytics and PostHog for analytics. You can block these via your browser settings without losing core site functionality.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account from the Settings screen in the app. Deleted accounts have a 6-month recovery window — logging back in during this period will restore your account. After 6 months, your data is permanently deleted.
If you cannot access the app, contact support@kadhaishorts.com with the phone number or email on your account.
Children
Kadhaishorts is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us to request deletion.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by writing to support@kadhaishorts.com. We respond within 30 days.
Grievance Redressal
For complaints under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, contact our Grievance Officer at support@kadhaishorts.com. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified in-app or on this page.
